The Lemon Diet is a detox diet of American origin, written by Dr. Stanley Burroughs in the 1950s.
Over the years, it has spread worldwide, especially in Brazil, and every day scientific studies confirm and testify to the results achieved with the daily use of lemon, both for weight loss and overall health. The diet is simple and consists of the daily use of the juice of 3 lemons, divided into three different times of the day.
The Lemon Diet combines two main points. The first is to start the day by drinking a lemonade on an empty stomach, without sugar or, if necessary, with a few drops of sweetener. When used on an empty stomach, lemon acts as a DETOX agent, cleansing and purifying the body while stimulating the metabolism to burn accumulated fat. The second point involves adopting a diet that does not exceed 1,200 calories per day, and half an hour before each meal, you should consume a glass of lemonade or LEMON DETOX. You can and should also
use lemon to season salads and meats, depending on your taste. Just remember that during the period you adopt this diet, you should not season salads and vegetables with oil or general sauces; the correct way is only with salt and vinegar or lemon. You can use this diet for a week, 15 days, or, depending on the case, even extend it for a month.
